SWEEPSTAKES OFFICIAL RULES
NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED BY LAW.
PROMOTION. Welcome to the [Sweepstakes] (the “Sweepstakes”). No purchase is necessary to enter or win, and no deposit, entry fee, payment, or proof of purchase is required to participate in the Sweepstakes.
AGREEMENT TO THESE RULES. By participation in the Sweepstakes, you agree to these Official Rules. Winning a prize is contingent upon fulfilling all requirements set forth herein.
SPONSOR. Strava, Inc. (“Strava,” “us,” “we”).
ELIGIBILITY. The Sweepstakes is open to legal residents of the United States, United Kingdom, Ireland, and New Zealand who are at least the legal age of majority in their jurisdiction at the time of entry. Employees, officers, directors, agents, and representatives of Strava, and each of its affiliates, as well as their immediate families (spouse, parent, child, sibling, and their respective spouses, regardless of where they reside) and those living in their same household, whether or not related, are not eligible to enter or win. Strava reserves the right to verify eligibility and to adjudicate any dispute regarding your eligibility at any time.
SWEEPSTAKES PERIOD. The Sweepstakes begins on June 8th, 2026, and ends on June 19th, 2026, at 11:59:59 p.m. [PST] (the “End Date”). The period from the Start Date to the End Date is the “Sweepstakes Period.” Strava reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to extend the Sweepstakes Period for any reason without prior notice. Strava’s clock is the official timekeeping device for the Sweepstakes.
ACCEPTANCE OF OFFICIAL RULES AND TERMS. By participating in the Sweepstakes, you agree to these Official Rules, our Terms of Service, and our Privacy Policy, and our decisions, which are final and binding in all respects with respect to the Sweepstakes. These Official Rules govern the Sweepstakes, but they do not govern Strava’s websites or services, which are governed by their own terms. In the event of any discrepancy or inconsistency between the Official Rules and disclosures or other statements contained in any Sweepstakes-related materials, these Official Rules shall prevail, govern, and control. All issues of interpretation will be decided by Strava.

7. HOW TO ENTER. No purchase or payment is necessary to enter or win the Sweepstakes. You can enter the Sweepstakes during the Sweepstakes Period by completing the survey you receive (the “Survey”) and submit your contact information when prompted. If you wish to enter the Sweepstakes without completing the Survey, you can do so by mailing us a 3x5 card including your name, email address, phone number, and name of the Sweepstakes. If we wish to enter the Sweepstakes without completing the Survey, we can complete and submit the online Google Form provided by us here. Such entries will have the same chance of winning as survey entries. To be eligible for the Sweepstakes, a Participant need not opt in to receive communications from Strava that may be of interest to them or otherwise agree to any other optional prompt.
LIMIT ONE ENTRY PER PARTICIPANT DURING THE SWEEPSTAKES PERIOD, REGARDLESS OF ENTRY METHOD. Participants may not submit or attempt to submit more than the stated limit of entries by using multiple email addresses, identities, or devices in an attempt to circumvent these Official Rules.
Strava is not obligated to notify any Participant of an invalid or incomplete entry. Entries that are incomplete or duplicative may be disqualified at our sole discretion. Entries received after the close of the Sweepstakes Period will not be eligible.
In the event multiple users of the same email account enter a Sweepstakes and a dispute arises regarding the identity of the Participant, the authorized account holder of the email address at the time of entry will be deemed the participating Participant. “Authorized account holder” means the natural person assigned to an email address by an Internet service provider, online service provider, or other organization responsible for assigning email addresses for the domain associated with the submitted email address.
Automated Entries are prohibited and any such use will cause disqualification. Entrants may not enter with multiple email addresses nor may entrants use any other device or artifice to enter multiple times or as multiple entrants. If it is discovered that you have entered or attempted to enter the Sweepstakes multiple times using multiple identities or email addresses, or that you submitted or attempted to submit more than the Entry limit provided above, all of your Entries may be declared null and void, and any prize you might have been entitled to will not be awarded, all as determined in our sole discretion. Our decisions with respect to whether an Entry complies with these Official Rules are final and binding and may be made by us at any time.
8. PRIZE. Five (5) winners (each, a “Winner”) will be selected to receive a $100 USD gift card (or local equivalent) (the “Prize”). LIMIT ONE (1) PRIZE PER PERSON. The total approximate retail value (“ARV”) of all Prizes is $500, which is accurate as of the date of these Official Rules. Any difference between the stated ARV and the actual value of the Prize will not be awarded.
THE PRIZE IS AWARDED “AS IS” WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. SOME JURISDICTIONS MAY NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OF IMPLIED WARRANTIES, SO THE ABOVE LIMITATION MAY NOT APPLY IN ALL CASES.
The Prize is non-transferable and may not be redeemed for cash. No Prize substitution is permitted by any Winner. However, Strava reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to substitute a Prize (or any portion thereof) with a prize of comparable or greater value.

9. WINNER SELECTION. Strava will select the five (5) Winners by random drawing from among all eligible entries received during the Sweepstakes Period. The drawing will take place on July 6th, 2026. The odds of winning a Prize depend on the total number of eligible entries received during the Sweepstakes Period.
Strava reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to forgo selecting a Winner if an insufficient number of eligible entries is received. Strava and its designees further reserve the right to review, reject, or remove any entry – either before or after submission – that, in their sole and absolute discretion, violates these Official Rules, without notice to the Participant.
10. WINNER NOTIFICATION. On or about July 6th, 2026, Strava will notify each potential Winner by email using the contact information provided at the time of entry (the “Notification”). All potential winners are subject to verification, and prizes will only be awarded to selected winners that are verified by Strava, including verification that such potential winner has complied with all Sweepstakes requirements. If so instructed in the Notification, the potential Winner must communicate acceptance to Strava by responding to the Notification and providing all required information and documentation (collectively, a “Response”) within forty-eight (48) hours of the Notification, or prize may be forfeited.
The potential Winner may be required to sign an affidavit of eligibility (which affirms that they have complied with these Official Rules) as well as a liability release and, where permitted by law, a publicity release, and an IRS Form W-9 (where required), each of which, if issued, must be completed, signed and returned within five (5) days from the date of issuance, or the Prize may be forfeited. Strava shall not be responsible for and shall not be liable for: (i) any change of email address or other contact information of entrants, (ii) for any delays in awarding prizes for any reason outside of Strava’s control, and/or (iii) late, lost, misdirected, or unsuccessful efforts to notify the Winner.
By accepting the Prize, the Winner acknowledges compliance with these Official Rules.
If a Winner is disqualified we may, at our sole discretion, notify and select a runner-up as a potential Winner. Likewise, if an attempted Notification is returned as undeliverable, the Prize may be forfeited and, at our sole discretion, a runner-up notified and selected as a potential Winner. If a runner-up is selected, it will be subject to the same Notification and Response obligations and may be disqualified in the same manner.
11. DISQUALIFICATION. Strava reserves the right to disqualify any entrant’s Entry in the Sweepstakes or entitlement to a prize, if, in the sole discretion of Strava, it determines or suspects that the entrant has (a) not complied with these Official Rules; (b) provided any false information during the Sweepstakes; (c) attempted to undermine the legitimate operation of the Sweepstakes by cheating, hacking, deception, or other fraudulent, deceptive, or unfair playing practices (including any Entries generated by script, macro, robotic, programmed, or any other automated means or any other means which subvert the entry process); (d) violated Strava’s Terms of Service, or (e) violated Strava’s Community Standards, which include Strava’s commitment to anti-racism.
12. RIGHT TO MODIFY OR SUSPEND. We reserve the right in our sole discretion to cancel, modify, or suspend this Sweepstakes at any time, if (a) fraud, technical failures, including any network server or hardware failure, viruses, bugs, errors in programming, or any other errors or other causes corrupt the administration, security, integrity, or proper play of the Sweepstakes or (b) the Sweepstakes is otherwise not capable of running as planned by us, including for any event beyond our control, including, without limitation, a force majeure, fire, flood, epidemic or other national health emergency, earthquake, explosion, labor dispute or strike, act of God or public enemy, satellite or equipment failure, riot or civil disturbance, terrorist threat or activity, war (declared or undeclared,) or any federal, state or local government law, order, or regulation, order of any court or jurisdiction, public health crisis.
In the event of cancellation, we reserve the right to select the winners from among all eligible, non-suspect Entries received up to time of such cancellation. In no event will we be liable for more than the stated number of prizes.
13. PRIVACY. We will use the personal information you submit as part of this Sweepstakes to administer the Sweepstakes, to select and notify the Winners, to fulfill the Prize, and in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which can be found here: https://www.strava.com/legal/privacy. If a Participant is selected as a Winner, the Winner’s information may also be included in a publicly available winners list (where permitted by law).
14. PUBLICITY. Where permitted by law, acceptance of the Prize constitutes a Winner’s consent to use Winner’s name, photograph, likeness, and biographical information without further compensation for advertising, promotional and publicity purposes by Strava and on a publicly available winners list.
15. TAXES. Any valuation of the Prize stated herein is based on available information provided to us. The value of the Prize will be reported for tax purposes as required by law and is taxable to the Winner as income. All applicable taxes and any other costs and expenses associated with the acceptance and/or use of the Prize not specifically provided for in these Official Rules are solely the Winner’s responsibility. The Winner is solely responsible for reporting and paying all applicable taxes. The Winner may be required to provide us with valid identification and a signed IRS Form W-9 (if applicable) before any Prize will be awarded. The Winner should contact their own tax advisor for any questions concerning taxes.
16. RELEASE, INDEMNIFICATION, AND LIMITATION OF LIABILITY. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, by entering the Sweepstakes, each Participant agrees (and agrees to confirm in writing) to release and hold harmless Strava, its parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, divisions, advertising and promotional agencies, suppliers and each of the foregoing entities’ employees, officers, directors, shareholders and agents (collectively the “Released Parties”), from and against any and all claims, actions and/or liability for any injuries or death, loss or damage of any kind arising from or in connection with participation in and/or entry to the Sweepstakes or acceptance or use of any Prize or participation in any Sweepstakes-related activity and for any claims based on publicity rights, defamation, invasion of privacy and merchandise delivery.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, each Participant agrees (and agrees to confirm in writing) to indemnify, release, and hold harmless the Released Parties from and against any and all liability, claims, loss, damage, injury or expense, including reasonable attorney’s fees, arising in connection with any third party action arising out of a breach or allegation which if true would constitute a breach of any of Participant’s representations, warranties, or obligations herein. Each Participant hereby acknowledges that the Released Parties have neither made nor are in any manner responsible or liable for any warranty, representation, or guarantee, express or implied, in fact or in law, relative to any of the Prizes (or any components thereof). All warranties and/or guarantees on a Prize (if any) are subject to the respective manufacturers’ or issuers’ terms therefore, and Winners agree to look solely to such manufacturers or issuers for any such warranty and/or guarantee.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the Released Parties are not responsible or liable for any incorrect or inaccurate entry information, and assume no responsibility for: (i) any error, omission, interruption, defect or delay in operation, connectivity, or transmission at any website, app, network, or server; (ii) failure of any entry to be received by Strava due to technical/mechanical/electronic errors or problems, human error, or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any website, app, network or server; (iii) communications line, hardware and/or software failures; (iv) damage to any computer or mobile device (software or hardware) resulting from or related to participation in the Sweepstakes; (v) theft or destruction of, tampering with, unauthorized access to, or alteration of entry information; (vi) entries, email messages, or other communications related to the Sweepstakes which are late, lost, stolen, damaged, delayed, garbled, illegible, unintelligible, misdirected, mutilated, and/or incomplete (or any combination thereof); (vii) printing, typographical or other errors appearing within these Official Rules or in any Sweepstakes-related advertisements or other materials; or (viii) other errors or problems of any kind in the administration of the Sweepstakes.
Although the Sweepstakes may be publicized on social media platforms, including but not limited to Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and X (formerly Twitter), the Sweepstakes is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with such platforms. By participating in the Sweepstakes, each Participant hereby releases the aforementioned social media platforms from any and all liability, claims, or actions arising out of or related to participation in the Sweepstakes or the acceptance or use of any Prize. Participants acknowledge that any information provided in connection with the Sweepstakes is provided to Strava and not to any social media platform.
17. GOVERNING LAW & DISPUTES. Except as otherwise provided herein, the dispute resolution, arbitration, governing law, and venue provisions contained in Strava’s Terms of Service are incorporated into these Official Rules by reference and apply to disputes arising out of or relating to this Sweepstakes, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
18. NON-WAIVABLE CONSUMER RIGHTS. Nothing in these Official Rules limits or excludes any consumer rights or guarantees that cannot be lawfully excluded under applicable law, including the laws of the United Kingdom, Ireland, or New Zealand.
19. CALIFORNIA NOTICE OF FINANCIAL INCENTIVE. Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (“CCPA”), California residents have the right to receive information about the financial incentives that we offer in return for personal information (as defined in the CCPA). As described in these rules, we are running this Sweepstakes where participants may provide personal information in survey responses in return for a chance to win prizes. You can opt into this Sweepstakes by completing the Survey. Your participation is completely voluntary, and you have a right to withdraw from these incentives at any time. If you decide you don’t want to participate in these financial incentives, you can refrain from providing survey responses.
The monetary value of the prize is a reasonable approximation of the monetary value of the information you provide us. We have arrived at this estimate based on consideration of multiple factors, including the following: (1) revenue generated by Strava in developing insights on our customers; and (2) expenses incurred by Strava in operating these financial incentive programs.
20. INTERFERENCE. Any attempt by an entrant or other individual to deliberately damage any website or app or undermine the legitimate operation of this Sweepstakes, including but not limited to any fraudulent claims, is a violation of criminal and civil laws. Should such an attempt be made, Strava reserves the right to seek remedies and damages from any such individual to the fullest extent permitted by law, including criminal prosecution.
21. SEVERABILITY: The invalidity or unenforceability of any provision of these Official Rules shall not affect the validity or enforceability of any other provision. In the event that any provision is determined to be invalid or otherwise unenforceable or illegal, these Official Rules shall otherwise remain in effect and shall be construed in accordance with their terms as if the invalid or illegal provision were not contained herein.
